| Y–Track & Spinner Hanger |
The W.Granowski Pty Ltd Y-Track airless blast cleaner comprises an overhead monorail system to carry product into the machine. The overhead trolley arrangement has a hanger attached to it from which the product is suspended. Y-Track machines are specifically designed for the treatment of fragile or unusually shaped components which are unsuited for cleaning in a Tumble Blast or Rotary Barrel machine.
The loaded hanger device comprises a carrying mechanism designed to suit the component to be cleaned, and is manually pushed into the blast chamber prior to commencement of the blast cycle. Granowski Y-Tracks generally have two blast wheels, but this may vary to suit the application. During the blast cycle the hanger is rotated in order to expose all areas of the component to the blast zone, resulting in an even finish.
The footprint of the W.Granowski Y-Track blast cleaner can vary to accommodate the size of the component to be cleaned and the area in which the machine is to operate. As such, it can also be incorporated into a production line where a continuous Y-Track blast cleaning machine may be best suited. |
