| Tumble Blast Machine |
The W.Granowski range of airless Tumble Blast Machines is ideal for batch or production lines and can be programmed for automatic loading and unloading. The standard loading bins suit a variety of components and can be tailor made to suit customer specific components. Mass production components are ideally suited for cleaning in a Tumble Blast machine as the machine is robust in design, it will survive use through consecutive shifts if regularly maintained, and there is an automatic load/unload function.
Granowski Tumble Blast machines accommodate industry needs through providing a range of standard internal sizes:
- 230 litre (8 ft3), 450 litre (16 ft3), 620 litre (22 ft3) & 800 litre (28 ft3), all of which incorporate an endless steel plate belt conveyor
- 170 litre (6 ft3) incorporates an endless perforated rubber belt conveyor
Larger special-built Tumble Blast machines are available and can be designed by our engineers to your specification. Depending on the internal size, the Granowski Tumble Blast machine utilises one or more blast wheels, ensuring a concentrated and even blast pattern. The wheels used in all Granowski machines are designed for optimal performance. They have blades that are easy to change and the wheel housing is protected by reinforced steel plates.
To ensure an even distribution of abrasive onto the components, the conveyor mill rotates them, which provides a consistent finish. The used abrasive gravitates to the hopper below the machine where it is transported, via the reclaim system, to the airwash separation system to remove contaminants before feeding the clean abrasive back to the blast wheel.
A dust collection system suitable to the size of the Tumble Blast and its application is fitted to the machine, ensuring adequate ventilation.
The Tumble Blast machine is constructed from mild steel with maintenance panels positioned for ease of access. The work chamber is lined with replaceable wear parts, and the machine door is sealed using a proven seal design which eliminates the risk of abrasive leakage and maintains a clear work area. |
